Jackson and Catherine literally fell in love in Beloved. I may have fallen a bit myself. Cat never believed she deserved love and Jackson taught her differently but Corrine left us with one heck of a cliffhanger with Beloved.

His past comes back to haunt him in Beloved and in Beholden, he tries to change the future regardless of his past. Jackson will not allow his past to determine his future, but will Cat allow him back into her heart is the big question.

From the get go...chapter one, (actually the prologue) your heart will break for Jackson and Catherine. Why such tragedies are what make it possible to bring people back together I will never know. Catherine and Jackson are thrown back together and are trusted into being together again. They need to rely on each other more than they ever have, but can they let go of their pasts to move forward?

This book will take you on an emotional roller coaster. Make sure you have your tissues ready as they will be needed throughout the book. It's not all rainbows and unicorns, as Catherine says...

"Love is messy and life sucks."

Jackson often say to Catherine;

"There are no goodbyes between us."

I don't want to ruin this story for you, but believe me when I say, you will finish this book with a new book boyfriend and a bit of a book hangover. Corinne Michaels has outdone herself with Beholden, this is one amazing love story with the reality of real life intertwined into it.
