Blurb
Twenty-one years ago, Gabriella's life was stolen from her before it even began.
Orphaned at birth and encompassed in a fortress of lies to protect her identity, she never truly understood her purpose on this earth. But now that she has ascended, embracing her destiny, the ghosts of her past have come back to haunt her.
Even with insurmountable power running through her veins, part of Gabriella is irreparably broken. And with old enemies working to destroy the tiny shred of normalcy she has left, she'll be forced to face the ugly truth about Dorian, the man she chose to love despite his darkness.
Everything she loved is a lie, and everyone she thought she knew is a stranger. And now that Gabriella is about to be thrust into the battle of her life, she discovers that she may be fighting for the wrong side.
*This is book 3 of The Dark Light Series, the highly anticipated conclusion to Gabriella and Dorian's beautifully tragic love story.
Excerpt
Without warning, we’re on the bed, wisps of charcoal vapors swirling around our bodies. I’m flat on my back with Dorian hovering over me, watching, waiting for his influence to overtake my consciousness. While his body doesn’t touch mine, his mind—his beautiful-fucking-mind—begins to infiltrate every part of me. Sliding over the surface of my skin, so soft and light, like the silkiest feather. Pinching my sensitive nipples and raking down my belly. Igniting heat between my thighs until my panties are damp with desire.
I feel him all over me—teasing my pleasure points with his phantom touches. He moves in closer, so close that our lips nearly meet, yet he still won’t kiss me. He still won’t let me taste the sweet longing that is undoubtedly tempting his tongue. I lift my head to take it from him only to find that I am bound to the bed, completely under his control.
I’ve been here before. I’ve been under Dorian’s spell enough times to know how this will play out. He’s a man of dominating control, and today has been nothing short of chaos. He’s taking it back. He’s taking me back.
“Touch me,” I beg, my voice breathless with agony.
“No.” His eyes spark with white fire on that single word, showing the torment of his restraint.
“Please,” I whimper. “I need you to touch me. I need to feel you.”
“You feel me now,” he rasps.
“No. That’s not enough.”
“Oh? Not enough?” Pressure spikes in my core and I cry out as sensation snakes through my swollen sex. He doesn’t move, but I feel him there—touching, licking, even biting. Soft and hard, hot and wet, all at the same time.
“I can feel you throbbing, Gabriella. It hurts, doesn’t it?”
“Yes.” My voice is an intelligible squeak. It does hurt, yet it feels oh-so-incredibly good. Dorian’s pain is the most potent form of pleasure.
“I feel the hardness of your nipples—how they ache to be licked and sucked. You want me to do that, Gabriella? You want me cover your nipples with my mouth and run my tongue over them? You want me to squeeze them between my teeth right before I suck them, baby?”
“Yes, Dorian,” I manage through a sob.
“And when I’m done teasing your nipples, you want me to run my tongue down…” Another jolt of electricity stings my sensitive flesh. “…down…down…until it meets that soft, sweet place that hurts you so bad? You want me to kiss it and make it better?”
I try to nod through the haze of lust and agony, but I can’t move. I can only feel him owning my body in the most delicious way.
Review for Light Shadows
This may be one of the hardest reviews I
have ever written. I have said a few times now, I don't read paranormal.
I guess I need to just change my statement on that. I guess I DO
READ paranormal because in one week I DEVOURED all four books in this series.
The conclusion, Light Shadows was nothing like I thought it would be.
It had me on the end of my seat...always. Honestly, I admit I spent
more than a few minutes on a few occasions, sitting in my car reading. I
couldn't put it down. I will also admit, I texted a friend who read the
book too to vent. This book has twists and turns but all of which I
followed and wasn't confused. I have found with a few of the paranormal
or sci-fi books, I find myself confused...a lot.
Syreeta Jennings was introduced to me with
her book Taint. The cover grabbed me and I HAD to read it. This
book's cover did the same. It's beautiful but it was the relationship
between Dorian, Gabriella and Nico that solidified my love of this series.
Of all the books in the series, this was my favorite. I cried, I
laughed (usually at something Nico said) and I held my breath for more than a
few chapters.
This review isn't complete without giving
SL Jenning's a standing ovation for her ability to write some of the sexiest,
most compassionate, hot, panty soaking love scenes that I have ever had the
privilege of reading....holy moly, girl, YOU are the Queen!
Gabrielle said it best when she said
"Naked. Dorian Skotos, the god of f*ck hot, is naked with bedhead"
The image of that in my head is absolutely x-rated and thank you for that mental image SL Jennings!
I don't give 5 stars to really anyone, well maybe occasionally. I am going to go out on a limb and give this book a ROUSING 5 out of 5 stars...I am a SL Jennings reader for life. If she choose to publish her latest shopping list, I think I would buy it...don't miss out on this amazing conclusion to a series that now sits in the top 5 of all series for me!

Review of Dark Light
I am sorry to say that I have had this book on my kindle since January. I am not sure how this happened. I am sure someone said to me to read it and I was not 100% sure about reading a paranormal book.
I am currently kicking myself that I have waited this long to meet Dorian and the bad ass that is Gabriella! At times Gabiella is a bit dense, but I honestly don't think she is as clueless as she seems at time. I think her feelings for Dorian have her mind so clouded, she doesn't see what's obviously in front of her.
Gabriella was a "normal" 20 year old girl until she met, Dorian. A tall dark handsome stranger who will change her life forever.
And Dorian can sweet talk like no other...
I have said it already, but SL Jennings is a master at writing love scenes, they are intimate, raw, hot, sexy, dirty and no holding back. I almost need a moment after reading them myself.

Synopsis
Love. Sex. Magic.
Before her 20th birthday, Gabriella was pretty much clueless
about all three. In love with her best guy friend since the age of 14 and too
crass and intimidating for most of the male population of Colorado Springs,
love and good sex were virtually a myth.
And then there’s magic. Freakin’ magic. There’s no way that
legend could have a place in her less than exciting life. So why after twenty
years of utter obscurity do her adopted parents hit her with the ton of bricks
that is her true identity? And how the heck is she supposed to accept all this
and become what she was truly created to be?
Lucky for Gabs, sexy as sin Dorian is more than equipped to help
her embrace these new revelations. And while everything about him feels oh so
good, she soon learns that there’s more behind his crystal blue eyes, chiseled
body and exotic beauty. Something dark, menacing and downright unnatural. Yet
Gabs is in way too deep to even try to turn away from him now.
Dark Light, Book 1 of the Dark Light Series, is the raw,
emotional story of a young woman’s journey of self-discovery in a world that
was not meant for her. And her scorching hot, lip-biting addiction for the man
she can’t deny, no matter the cost.
*Contains strong adult content.

"Maybe Dorian really is a creeper. A ridiculously sexy, alluring, gorgeous creeper that I wouldn't mind being accosted by in a dark alley"Dorian has this hold over Gabriella, but as the book progresses, we see that Gabriella also has a hold over Dorian. This isn't a one sided relationship. They are drawn to each other. In their worlds, that shouldn't be happening.
And Dorian can sweet talk like no other...
"I want to take my time with you. Torture you slowly. I'm going to savor every second of you undoing."**Picks self up off floor**

Synopsis
Dorian Skotos is Dark. And although that brand of sheer,
unrelenting evil is a direct threat to her life, Gabriella is tragically in
love with him.
Gabriella knew it was all too good to be true. The way his
touch radiated electricity right to her core, the way his ice blue eyes somehow
made panties drop involuntarily, how his sexy half-smile crumbled the barriers
around her heart…Dorian was extraordinary in every way.
She ignored the alarm bells for the sake of pleasure and a
little slice of peace from her mixed-up life. She thought that whatever he was,
she could help him. Maybe even change him. But now that the proof of Dorian’s
true identity and what he was sent for is staring her in the face, Gabriella
can’t deny the inevitable. And confronting that truth could very well slaughter
more than just her fragile heart.
Review of
The Dark Prince
Gabriella knows who and what Dorian is, but her love for him
is too strong to make her turn away.
This book was a roller coaster.
Love, hate, light, dark...it's all in there.
In The Dark Prince we meet, Nikolai. The charming younger brother of Dorian. We see a friendship begin between Gabriella
and Nikolai. He is an arrogant, fun loving, and loyal friend and brother.
Gabriella needs to trust Dorian and it becomes harder and
harder as their time together is jeopardized.
As her ascension nears, she needs Dorian but he is unable to be the one
their for her. We see Niko become that
one go-to person.
My heart breaks for Gabriella and Dorian in this book but
their love is not what is meant to be and being together may not be the best
for everyone.
There is again, so super hot sexy scenes, more violence than
the 1st book but it's necessary to the story to show the seriousness of the
situation between Dorian and Gabriella and the Dark and the Light...

About the Author
Synopsis
We met Nikolai in The Dark Prince (Dark Light #2). Now learn
his story...
Two centuries ago, I clawed my way into a world of immorality, filth and
destruction. A world seething with secrets and lies, both mortal and
immortal.
Complete and utter Darkness.
I know we’re supposed to be inherently evil, but something inside me refuses to
fully believe our legends. Something that calls out for more…calls out for
her.
But there are rules. Rules that control the balance of nature. And if broken,
it could destroy everything I’ve ever known. It could destroy me.
I am Nikolai Skotos, son of Stavros and Delia, and brother of Dorian, the heir
of the Dark throne. I am one of the most powerful Dark forces to have ever
walked this earth.
And I once was lost.
Now, I’m about to give it all up for the girl that found me.
*Recommended for mature readers only due to scorching hot sex scenes, explicit
violence & Niko's potty mouth.
Review of Nikolai
Nikolai is a novella and sometimes I think readers think
they are little, after thoughts but this novella is vital to the series.
In this book, we learn about Niko, what makes him!
Once you read this you will understand why he is the way he is.
Prior to this novella I was all about Dorian. After reading Nikolai,
there is a special place in my heart for this dark and tortured man.
Amelie was his one love and he will always be changed for
knowing her. In The Dark Prince he's a smart mouthed, man-whoring,
arrogant boy. But in Nikolai we meet the man beneath the hard exterior.
"Amelie was my dream. She was my life.
My Love. My reason to breathe."
