This book is full of so much emotion. It was hard for me to really get into it with feeling like I was going to cry. I am not saying I didn't like it because I loved it.

As your reading you can feel Willow's pain, sense all of her emotions. Then when Guy* comes into the picture you can feel her start to let her guard down. She starts to feel something other pain. With his help she is able to confront her brother about the night that changed their lives forever. With his help she realizes she will never be anyones daughter anymore. She starts to develop an emotion that for her she hasn't seen in seven months. Despite everything she keeps her "kit" and cuts when she has flashbacks.

I was getting really pissed when I had like 60 pages left and Guy showing and telling Willow that he has the strongest feelings for her and here she is pushing him away. Because as you read you feel Willow fall in love with him and it just made me mad that she clearly loves him and he loves but she pushes him away.

This story is a love story as well as a story about a serious issue, cutting.

*His name was Guy. That was something that did bother me a bit I didn't get why he didn't have any other name.
